You Get What You Need, Not Always What You Want
Sometimes, during an energy healing session, something truly magical happens. A name might pop into my mind, one that strikes a chord with the person I’m working with. I might catch a glimpse of something familiar, like a cozy old leather-bound book or a cheerful yellow teacup. Those moments are special; they linger in your heart and remind us of the magic that can happen. I don’t plan these experiences; I’m just here to help facilitate them.
But then there are those times when the session are quiet and still, without any messages or vivid images. The energy is still flowing, and healing is happening, but a sense of emptiness might creep in for both of us. We might wonder what's going on. Did we miss something? Should there have been more?
Over the years, I’ve learned to appreciate these quieter sessions just as much, sometimes even more. Healing meets us where we are, providing exactly what we need, even if it’s not what we expected.
Every session has its own unique vibe. No two experiences are the same. When something significant comes through like a message from a loved one or a powerful insight, it can truly feel life-changing, stirring emotions that words can't always express. But sometimes, we experience subtler shifts. There might not be any words exchanged at all, just the calm energy working quietly, creating enlightenment in its own time.
Healing Is Not a Performance
If you’ve had a session filled with meaningful revelations, it’s natural to hope for that experience again. Sometimes, that magic happens once more, and other times, it doesn’t. But it’s important to remember that healing isn’t a show; it doesn’t happen on cue. It’s tuning in to what your body, spirit, and energy need at that moment.
As a healer, my job isn’t to force anything. I create a warm, welcoming space, I listen, and I trust the process. Whatever comes through is meant to come through, and if nothing comes up, that’s perfectly okay too.
The Power of a Quiet Session
In those sessions that feel a bit quiet, it’s tempting to think something “should” have happened. Yet, more often than not, the real healing is taking place at a much deeper level. Your nervous system might be calming down, your body could be letting go of unexpressed feelings, and your energy might be realigning in ways that will become clear later.
This isn’t nothing; it’s healing in its truest sense.
Staying Open
If you’ve ever left a session feeling a bit let down because it didn’t go as you expected, I want you to know that you didn’t do anything wrong. You didn’t overlook anything important. Healing just chose to reveal itself differently this time.
Keep an open heart to the process. Allow it to unfold in its own time. Often, the most meaningful shifts occur gently and quietly, leaving lasting echoes that stay with us long after the session has ended.
